Aamir Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of Jazz since 2016 and a member of VEON’s Global Executive Committee, has been a pivotal force in shaping Pakistan’s digital and financial landscape. In recognition of his transformative contributions, he was awarded the Hilal-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest civilian Honors, in 2025. He has also been a member of the Global Executive Committee of VEON, leading its Emerging Markets Division. His career spans over 25 years, 7 countries and in industries as diverse as telecommunications, automotive, and financial services.

Khurram has 21 years of international and local experience and has been associated with Telenor Pakistan since 2006. During this period, Khurrum has led technological transformations for Telenor Pakistan to ensure a future-ready IT and Network infrastructure.
Saad Muzaffar Waraich is a seasoned telecom professional having expertise in technology, organizational transformation, sales, services, and operations. He has a wide range of leadership experience working with both national and international firms in the telecom and other technology areas. Prior to joining Transworld, Mr. Waraich served in management positions at PTCL, Ufone, Nokia, Comptel, IBM, Nokia Siemens Networks and NCR. He has conceptualized and led product portfolios, processes, mergers & acquisitions with a key contribution towards improvement in the bottom line and managing customer relationships.

Mr. Aqeel Khurshid is the Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of Nayatel Pvt Ltd and Micronet Broadband Group of Companies, providing strategic and technical direction to the group. Under his technical supervision and leadership, Nayatel in 2006 launched the first FTTU network of South East Asia Region and Micronet Broadband in 2002 launched first DSL service in Pakistan. Mr. Aqeel previously served Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) at various managerial and technical positions (1996-2002).
Maroof Ali Shahani is currently serving as COO Cybernet, CEO TV Nation and PKIX Board Member. Mr. Maroof Ali is a modern-day executive, with a diverse portfolio and vast experience in the industry.

Naveed Khalid Butt is serving as Group Chief Regulatory Officer (GCRO) to lead the Regulatory Function for both PTCL and Ufone. Butt was previously the head of Regulatory Affairs at Ufone. He’s been given the added responsibility after PTCL and Ufone merged their Regulatory and Legal functions as part of the group strategy to consolidate the management of both the companies leading towards an integrated entity with more efficient operations and productivity.
