COMPLIANCE POLICY

All members, Employees and Associates of the Telecom Operator’s Association ensures mandatory compliance for Competition Commission of Pakistan rules (CCP), Anti -bribery Laws, Anti-Corruption Laws, Anti-trust laws and Consumer Protection laws of Pakistan and all other relevant laws. The Association holds a policy on the subject and ensure strict vigilance for the same.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all members, employees and associates of the Telecom Operators Association, hereinafter called as Association should adhere strict compliance of Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) rules, Anti- bribery, Anti-Trust and Anti Corruptions laws and all relevant acts. There shall be ZERO TOLERENCE on the subject. Any Member, Employee or Associate found under breach of this policy will be suspended and terminated from the Association.

ADHERENCE TO LAWS

All members, employees and associates of the Association must comply to all best practices and prevailing laws of Pakistan, and in particular the following (Details can be seen by clicking the link)

AWARENESS & CAUTION

In order on ensure awareness & Caution on the subject, this policy will be visible on website, will be flashed in the beginning of each meeting of the Association as first slide, is duly covered in collaboration agreement, incorporated in the “By Laws of the Association and also mentioned as part of the code of conduct policy

Consumer Focus & Protection:

The Association will ensure consumer focus and protection in all its endeavors

VIGILIGANCE & CHECK ON COMPLIANCE POLICY

The Board will oversee the compliance through a Specific Compliance & Legal Committees. The Secretary general of the Association and The 

UNDERTAKING BY MEMEBRS

An undertaking is already built in the collaboration agreement on CCP laws, Anti Bribery and Anti-Corruption laws. All new membership applications will also have a built-in undertaking to this effect.

ACTION ON BREACH OF POLICY

The Legal & Compliance Committee of the Association will evaluate, inquire, report and recommend action on any breach of this policy and Necessary Action will be Taken by the Board of Governors in Coordination by the President of the Management Committee.
